ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to ascertain the provision of physical facilities on teachers’ job output in Obudu Local Government Area, Cross River State. Four null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance using chi-square (x2) analysis. The instrument used for data collection was the questionnaire entitle Provision of Physical Facilities and Teachers’ Job output (QPPFTJO). The sample comprised of two hundred (200) respondents drawn from five (5) schools in the study area. Survey research design was used and the result of the analysis revealed that school building maintenance significantly influenced teachers’ job performance; school ground management significantly influenced teachers’ job output. Based on the findings, it was recommended among others that: well ventilated and spacious classrooms should be provided in school; school grounds should be beautified by planting flowers.
